Mr. Matlon's Intro to Business class recently had their annual Food Truck Expo @ OF. Students had the opportunity to showcase what they have learned about in mkting, advertising, & teamwork. Various classes & faculty had the chance to listen to their pitch & vote on the best. Great job by all!

The Class of 2025 students started their last day @ OFHS w/a chilly start at Bengal Stadium at 5am - even though they didn't see the sunrise they had a great time!

Our OFHS FR bball team played under the lights @ OF Baseball - Shooters Field & lost in a nail biter vs Sandburg (8-6) but had a great time. A special thanks to Jack Hausherr & the OF Baseball board for the opportunity to play under the lights.

Principal Mrs. Dempsey & AP Mr. Boniface had the honor of attending the Illinois Principal Assoc. breakfast where 3 of our outstanding students, Madison Prim, Tanya Wiseman & Ian Doll were recognized for their hard work, leadership & dedication as Bengals! They celebrated alongside other student leaders from across the region with a well-deserved breakfast. Bengal Nation is so proud of you!
Congrats to Mr. Rojek & his Symphonic Band for being selected by the Illinois High School Assoc. as "Best of Day" by the judges. They recently received their certificate for recognition of the "Most Superior Musical Performance" heard by judges. Bengal Nation is so proud!!
Mrs. Matys' Biology class incubated chicken eggs for 21 days and on May 5th the first chicken hatched. The Biology class now has 22 chicks that have hatched and hope they enjoy a few days at OFHS until they are returned to the farmer.

OFHS Choral Dptmt performed their annual benefit "Pop" Concert & raised money for Alzheimer's Awareness. It was such an amazing night by all the talented students - Broadway Night @ OF.
OFHS Diversity Club put on an amazing event - their annual Cultural Fair. Students & staff enjoyed the wonderful performances & sampled a variety of foods during the fair. Thank you to all the students & staff who participated & helped make it happen!

Mental Health Awareness Week ended w/a schoolwide assembly where special guest speaker Kevin Atlas talked to Bengal Nation about the obstacles he has overcome & explained the importance of having confidence in yourself while supporting others. Thank you Kevin for the exciting lessons on "Your Mind, Your Power"!!
