Freshman students gave back by going to the Chicago Food Depository. This nonprofit organization works to provide food for people in need throughout Cook County. On January 30th, Hillcrest and Bremen students had the privilege of attending the Griffin Museum of Science & Industry's Black Creativity Exhibition Opening. During the remarks and awards, it was highlighted that the incredible works featured in the Teen Exhibition were selected from over 1,300 entries—an impressive achievement in itself. It was a unique opportunity for students to explore the powerful works of professional Black artists and engage in meaningful conversations about their art and experiences. #hillcresthawkpride

Mrs. Tate along with her Anatomy students attended the North Park Cadaver Lab. The University was extremely accommodating and planned a variety of activities for the students throughout the day. Students were able to ask questions about admission requirements as well as tour the Health Science building. The activities were engaging,educational, and the opportunity will be something students forever talk about.Some students were even able to hold an actual heart, liver and brain. Regarding after school activities, your coach or sponsor will communicate with each group the specifics of that group.
- Your student needs to complete the Attendance Google Form by 10 a.m. in order to be considered "present" for school.
- Your student should refer to his/her Google Classrooms and complete all assignments posted by the teacher.
- Classroom teachers are available to assist your student between the hours of 12 pm and 2 pm. Help can be provided via Google Classroom, Voice, Meet and/or email.
