Ecology club has successfully planted their 60th tree on campus. The students worked so hard on this project. Every year we are always working against the weather but this year we got lucky with a beautiful day! The Morton Arboretum will be sending a couple people out next week to finish up the tree identification process. Applied Engineering classes started learning how to drive DRONES! Students are practicing indoors while they finish up their training! Everyone flying has gone through FAA TRUST Drone Certification and is making insane progress on their flying skills. #hillcresthawkpride

Students from SSC are rehabing a house in Park Forest. Building Trades students got to see them in action and hear about the house, possible certificate and degree opportunities at SSC and hear what CEDA is all about. #hillcresthawkpride










In October, the Freshman Academy started the month focusing on stopping bullying. Students signed the Hillcrest Stand Up to Bullying Promise and we launched our contest. Students were to make an original piece of art that encouraged our school community to stop bullying. The winners of the contest were:
