Mrs. Mulcahy and Ms. Scaramella’s Psychology students took their learning beyond the classroom with an exciting field trip to the Museum of Illusions! 🧠
Students had an amazing time exploring interactive exhibits that challenged their understanding of sensation and perception—from mind-bending optical illusions to immersive sensory experiences. This hands-on learning opportunity brought psychology concepts to life in the most fun and engaging way!

📚✨ Hillcrest High School’s first-ever Lit Fest was a huge success! 🎉 Juniors and seniors had the incredible opportunity to meet YA author Michelle Falkoff, hear about her journey as a writer, and even get their books signed! 🖊️📖

🌟 Key Club Community Outreach Day Highlights 🌟
What an amazing day! Key Club kicked off their annual Community Outreach Day by visiting the littles at Kindercare down the street. They donated over 100 books, and their smiles were priceless! 📚😊 Students read, played, and had a blast with the kiddos. Plus, our students got the chance to chat with the workers about careers—what an inspiring morning!
Next, they headed to Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge Assisted Living, where they ran a fun BINGO session for over 30 residents. 🎉 Our students took charge—calling numbers, assisting, and handing out prizes (which were generously donated by my awesome Key Club members). The kids were total stars and represented us SO well! ✨

On January 30th, Hillcrest and Bremen students had the privilege of attending the Griffin Museum of Science & Industry's Black Creativity Exhibition Opening. During the remarks and awards, it was highlighted that the incredible works featured in the Teen Exhibition were selected from over 1,300 entries—an impressive achievement in itself. It was a unique opportunity for students to explore the powerful works of professional Black artists and engage in meaningful conversations about their art and experiences. #hillcresthawkpride
